This policy describes how Parcel FFF Limited("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use Parcel FFF. We are the data controller — Parcel FFF Limited, contact privacy@parcelfff.co.uk.
1. What we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash, role.
- Booking data: sender + recipient address, parcel dimensions, declared value, contents description, tracking numbers.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe — we don't store card numbers. We retain a payment-intent id for reconciliation.
- Tracking data: events from the carrier (timestamp, location, status).
- Technical: IP address (transient), user-agent, cookies (see our cookies policy).
2. Why we hold it
- To fulfil your booking and pass it to the carrier (contractual necessity).
- To send you delivery updates (legitimate interest, opt-in for SMS).
- To prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interest).
- For tax / accounting (legal obligation).
3. Where it lives
Hosted on UK and EU infrastructure only. Subprocessors include: Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), Twilio (SMS), and the carriers we book with on your behalf. We share only the minimum data each one needs.
4. How long we keep it
Booking records: 7 years (accounting requirement). Tracking events: 12 months after delivery. Inactive accounts: 24 months, then anonymised. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see below.
5. Your rights
- Access: get a copy of your data.
- Rectify: correct anything that's wrong.
- Erase: ask us to delete your account + data.
- Object / restrict: stop or limit certain processing.
- Portability: take your data to another provider.
Email privacy@parcelfff.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK ICO (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with our response.

7. Changes
We'll flag material changes at the top of this page for at least 30 days before they take effect.
